The settings within the BIOS are geared towards advanced users for increasing performance and functionality of the motherboard and its connected hardware. While most of the settings should be thoroughly understood prior to making any adjustments, most BIOS manufacturers include an option to automatically set the options in your BIOS to the recommended optimal settings. Users who may not understand the advanced settings or those that are experiencing problems with their modifications and need to revert to the recommended defaults will find this useful.
