Tutorial, How to unlock Google Nexus S bootloader
So you've bought and have a Nexus S, which is supported by Gingerbread OS 2.3. Unfortunately, Google's Nexus S has a bootloader locked out of the box. How to work around so that you could have unlocked the bootloader?
Make sure you have your Gingerbread Android 2.3 SDK is installed on your PC.
Procedure to unlock the Nexus S Bootloader:
* Turn Off Google Nexus S and reboot into Recovery Mode by the way, press the Volume UP and then hold diikutin by pressing the Power Button.
* Now run the terminal command prompt of your PC, plug-ins Nexus S using the USB cable to your PC, then type in fastboot devices to ensure Nexus S connected properly.
* Next, type reboot adb fastboot OEM bootloader and then unlock (for mengunlock bootloader)
* Select 'YES' and 'Unlock Bootloader' using the volume button.
Voila! please note, this process will nge-reset your Nexus S to factory defaults
To reverse the status booloader into locked mode:
* Log into recovery mode as in the command above, then type reboot bootloader adb
* Then type fastboot OEM lock
Nexus S will be back as usual ... enjoy n hwave FUN!
