Windows XP to allow 4 hardware changes:

The Product Activation software found in Office XP and Windows XP, will limit the changes in hardware to 4 for systems with Windows XP. The Product Activation in Windows XP accepts only 4 hardware changes before requiring re-activation because with any more changes the software will think it's on another system. Also, firmware updates will require re-activation from Microsoft.

What's New in Windows Xp?

All the features currently in Windows 2000 and Windows Millennium will be put together to form this operating system. New features are already included such as "Choosing Kernel Mode" which allows you to choose 95 or NT 4 mode. A feature called "Time Check" which you can set up to make your system clock check the atomic time and set it according to the atomic time. And "XP Personal Firewall" which will allows you to have your own firewall, but this time, no more 3rd party software.
