How to Configure Vista Firewall

Step 1
Click on the "Start" menu icon in the Windows taskbar. Select the "Control Panel" tab on the right-hand side of the "Start" menu. Accessible the "Security" window, which has a checkered absorber as an icon. Click on the "Windows Firewall” advantage to accessible the firewall window.

Use the "Restore Defaults" button under the "Advanced" tab to restore Vista's default firewall configuration. Any changes you have made to allow or block programs will be deleted.

Step 8
Click the "Apply" button at the bottom of the window to activate the changes to your firewall. Click "OK" to save the changes, and exit from the configuration screen
