Ubuntu Shipit has started accepting requests for the next Ubuntu release Ubuntu 8.10 called Intrepid Ibex. Shipit is an service started by Canonical to give distribute free CDs of Ubuntu to those who cannot download them.Shipping usually takes 2-4 weeks depending on your location. You need a launchpad account for requesting an CD. Registration is free.
Intrepid Ibex is the latest OS developed by Canonical and will be released on 30th October.
