IOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak for iPhone, iPod touch, and original iPad been released. To be able to do the jailbreak process you need redsn0w, which is available both for Windows and Mac OS X.
Which should be prepared:
- iTunes 10.2.1 or higher
- redsn0w for Windows or Mac
- IOS 4.3.1 IPSW file (firmware) that match your device
1. Open Dev-Team blog for download redsn0w.
2. Select the IOS firmware appropriate.
3. After downloading the firmware and redsn0w, now you're ready to jailbreak.
4. Run redsn0w. After that you will be prompted to browse and select the custom firmware that has been previously downloaded (step # 2)
5. Select 'Install Cydia "and redsn0w will guide you how to set the device in DFU mode. Before entering this step make sure the device is in the OFF position.
6. Let the process run.
