Hard drives are divide in to two or more partitions, the size of the partition depends on the size in the hard drive. Each partition is used for different purpose. The partition some time gets deleted and goes the data too with the partition. You might think that the partition is too difficult to get delete or the partition can not be deleted. But the partition can be deleted the reason can be the re installation of the OS or the virus infection. But don’t you worry about it , your crucial data can be recover and that too very easily. The data is not actually deleted from the partition it’s there in the system, its just that we are not able to locate the data.
There are two ways to recover data in the case of deleted partition the first way is to restart the system and boot the system with the windows install CD. Hit delete button to to get to the setup make the system boot from the CD. The next step will,be to restart the system and start the instillation process.
Once the installation process starts you need to select “repair” rather than “install”,. This will allow you to restore the deleted partition. To do so you will see a DOS screen on the DOS screen type fixboot and hit enter. This may fix your problem and recover the deleted partition
If in case the data is not recovered you will have to look out for the third party data recovery software to recover the data. The third party software will detect the partition on the system and will make it available for you you can then just click on to the recover button to recover the data from it as well as the partition.
