Sparsebundle got corrupt with (Error 109) how to recover data

Most of the Mac users like me consider Mac to be safe, since the Time Machine has been introduced, I also was in the same impression but last week I faced the problem in Mac, sparse bundle got corrupt it was showing error 109, Sparse bundle as we all know it contains all the backed up data on our Mac system.

Researched a lot about the Error 109 in Sparse bundle and what should be done to recover data in such case. I was not in the mood to spend money to recover the data using any Mac utility tools so I was in search of some techniques which can recover the data with no extra cost. What I found out was.

The first step in progression was to repair and verify the disk.

• We firstly need a Disk utility
• To repair the sparse bundle we need to connect the Time Capsule using the Ethernet
cable, to fasten up the process a bit.
• Now mount the sparse bundle, by opening the TC in the Finder.
Sparse bundle will be opened once you double click it .
Sparse bundle then should be dragged to the Disk utility, select it.
• Now upon selecting the desired partition or the sparse you need to click on to the repair
disk.
• The recovery process will take some time to recover the data, and the time can be even
more if the data is on the time machine.
• You will find most of the data recovered but also with few of the data with error to, what to
be done in the case to run the process again till the time the data is not recovered
properly.

The process for Mac data recovery for the internal hard drive is simple

• Insert the Snow leopard installation disk, and then restart your Mac system holding the
“C” Key.
• When you see another screen select Utilities from main menu and then Disk Utilities
• Then start the process to recover data from the internal hard drive

In most of the cases the data is properly recovered, but there are times when the data is corrupt to such an extent that through this disk utility the data recovery for Mac is not possible so in that case the last option would to opt for the Mac recovery software.
