After windows 7 installation was added to the domain, i often keep getting the BSOD on the AFD.SYS file. My windows firewall was on, but trying with it off. I also find that having the wireless network card enabled also produced blue screens.
This issue that afd.sys cause blue screen occurred on my Windows 7 x86 and Win 7 x64. Asus P5KC MB, 4GB Ram, Intel CPU E6750 Duo.
Here is how to fix the issus. Solved it for me.
1.Disable my onboard NIC (Atheros).
2.Used Broadcom PCI-E NIC. .
Or you can try to use different hardware.

comp idles when Internet signal drops
My computer running the Windows 7 7600 32 Bit OS, and its processor is AMD Athlon(tm) 64 x 2 Dual Core 4800+ 2.5ghz with 2.00 GB Ram.
I want to prevent internet dropping while I'm away from the computer. How can i do? Everything is fine while im on the computer and surfing the web, etc...
You should go to hardware, and find your networkcard with rightclick. Then choose properties, and go to energy tab, set "can save power" option off. Good luck for you.

internet sharing problem
I can not share an internet between two laptops running windows 7 with any ethernet router at the moment. And I try to connect to internet by a 3G modem which connected via USB.
There is no chance when I have tried giving them specific IP adresses. I I saw two network connection which says "Home Network" and ethernet connections seems as "Unidentified network". Whenever I assing IP's manually, I can manage to get Home network but no internet connection, even I shared it on the network settings or even internet settings.
I think it's your set up or your ISP is? Are you want to share a 3G like cell phone?
