This device is actually almost been released years ago by founder, Barnes & Nobles (a retail company and reading digital books), but only recently thrown into the market.
Some observers argue, the device with 7-inch diagonal screen size (resolution 1024 x 600 pixels), it between the Kindle with the iPad. Form factor it does look more elegant. It uses the Android OS (version 2.1) which of course will not only unused to the media read books, magazines, or newspapers, but also downloading some applications from Android (OHD).
The difference with the Kindle-time used to read-NookColor presents different views are more varied. Includes background mengbah Facebook to adjust to the ambience where the reading. Also do not miss kind of magnification mode settings, and change color.

But for the purposes of a multimedia play, he can be relied upon even if limited to MP3 and AAC audio and video M4V.
Of course, such a firm Barnes & Noble has to work extra to offer this device in a single concept of selling books and reading in the media window. A book has to offer reportedly worth about 8 to 10 dollars. There are even some books that rents more skewed. While NookColor own price for 245 dollars.

Within three months, the Nokia N8 managed up to four million units sold globally. Similarly, the data presented Finnish research institute, Inderes Oy.
"Until the end of December, Nokia successfully sell 3.5 to 4 million units globally N8," wrote Inderes Oy in an official statement quoted VIVAnews from GSM Arena, Monday, January 3, 2011.
The news is not too surprising. Because Nokia has previously said that the Nokia N8 successfully fetched a new record as a product with the highest number of pre-orders in the historical records of sales of Nokia. Unfortunately, Nokia does not ever explain the numbers.
But, if the data Inderes Oy to be believed, estimated nearly four million people carrying the Nokia N8 today.
Some pundits speculated N8 popularity skyrocketed even in countries which have always been the biggest target segments, such as Asian countries, including Indonesia.
News from Inderes Nokia Oy, of course encouraging. But, it's better to wait for year-end shopping season is over and exposure to the performance of Nokia in the fourth quarter.
Just to note, N8 is a phone with Nokia's first 12 megapixel camera and a Carl Zeiss optics, flash from Xenon and the sensors that is claimed to compete with compact digital cameras.
Similar to its competitors, namely Apple's iPhone, N8 can also record in HD resolution and supports video editing on it. Although already supporting Dolby Digital Plus, users who want to enjoy better sound can menghubunkan this phone to a home theater system.
Still, not as expected in April that this phone will come with 64GB of internal memory, the Nokia N8 which was circulated at this time 'only' has an internal storage capacity of 16GB. Although that capacity through microSD cards still can add up to 48GB.
